Excellent room - clean and spacious, modern. The included breakfast is impressive with cheese omelettes, french toast, sausage links, various juices, fresh Starbucks coffee, and banana muffins (baked in-house that morning).
4 stars because the pillows were harder than I liked and the bed was extremely soft - not so great in my lower back.
Nice updated rooms. Fireplace rooms. Pool and hot tub. Breakfast included. Free WiFi. Free premium channels. Clean room good service. Lyndsay at the desk is the best you could ask for when dealing with reservations or problems.
Penn Wells Lodge great place to stay when visiting Wellsboro. Located on the main strip thru town. Rooms are clean and comfortable, atmosphere and service are outstanding.

My husband and I stayed here to visit the PA grand canyon. It's about a 20 minute drive away. The town is really cute and worth the drive. The hotel is very nice, the staff is friendly, and rooms are clean and comfortable. It has one of the nicest pools I've ever seen in a hotel. I swam laps because it's so long. Breakfast is included and was great. The only bad/ weird thing was it only had 1 outlet to charge our phones and the light switches were bizarre. Like many hotels, it was best just to turn off lights individually. We tried to flip the light switch inside the door and found it turned off not only the lights but also the clock, TV, & wall outlets. However this was minor. Overall, we loved our stay and would come back.
